Telluride Freeskiing World Tour Qualifier

Telluride Big Mountain Team represents in Telluride FWT qualifier!

Inspection Day turned up sketchy conditions

With over 150 skiers inspecting the rocky rib on Genevie conditions were ever changing and line choice was changing as well. Smart skiing and good decisions let to good scores.

Chason Russell's day one run

Mike Gardner stoked to be in the heli to the top of the finals venue

There was a lot at stake to make the finals this year in Telluride. MSI had huge plans to fly the finalist to the summit of Palmyra Peak for a true big mountain competition. Strong winds and ever changing weather conditions made the heli ride the most exciting part of finals day.

Mike Gardner laying down the top scoring run of the day!

Huge props to Mike Gardner of the Telluride Big Mountain Team for putting down a calculated well skied run that brought him from the 33rd position to 5th place overall. Skiing smart and strong won huge points with the judges. Line well skied!

Finals venue on Palmyra Peak

Challenging conditons and flat light made for an exciting finals.
